Remarkable hotel, exceptional location, close to The Palace Museum and within walking distance to Shilin Night Market, that offers a stunning outdoor swimming pool, and excellent service from friendly staff who made our stay enjoyable.

Good place with free wi-fi, a lovely outdoor swimming pool, and helpful luggage storage. The staff once gave me great tips about the town, which I remember fondly. Highly recommend experiencing the luxurious buffet!

We had a lovely time enjoying the gorgeous hilltop grounds, where we could take peaceful strolls with our little baby and explore nature trails. The breakfast buffet was a real treat, offering delicious options to fuel our day. The staff went above and beyond, even upgrading our room for us.

In my wife’s opinion, a small kids’ play area would have been perfect for our little one.

The shower cabin had a loose joint, and there were no bathroom amenities like soap, not quite what I expected from a 5-star hotel. Location is a bit inconvenient for getting to central Taipei, but the historic charm made it worthwhile. Still, the hotel can feel crowded at times due to tourist tours. Overall, a unique place to stay, but could improve service consistency.
