The Grand Hotel Taipei impresses with its majestic architecture and rich history. The room offered generous space and stunning views, but the beds felt too firm for comfort. While the shuttle service is convenient, the lobby often seemed overcrowded, impacting the overall atmosphere during check-in.

This is what stood out
Nestled on a hill, the expansive balconies and serene views captivated me. Enjoying a morning swim, I felt rejuvenated. Dining on local delights was a treat, though reservations are a must! Easy access to jogging paths and nearby landmarks added to the charm. A truly enchanting experience that balances heritage and comfort!

I recently stayed for 3 nights, and the experience was amazing! The iconic architecture felt impressively grand, and the views from the enormous balcony were breathtaking. The dim sum at the restaurant was a highlight, but I recommend making a reservation. Can't wait to visit again!

We had a lovely time enjoying the gorgeous hilltop grounds, where we could take peaceful strolls with our little baby and explore nature trails. The breakfast buffet was a real treat, offering delicious options to fuel our day. The staff went above and beyond, even upgrading our room for us.
In my wife’s opinion, a small kids’ play area would have been perfect for our little one.

The Grand Hotel is stunning. The lobby is huge and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed the live piano concert every evening. Breakfast offered a great variety of dishes. Rooms are spacious and clean, with a lovely view of Taipei 101. Staff at the lobby café were friendly. However, I found the service hit or miss. some staff seemed rushed and not as welcoming. The shower cabin had a loose joint, and there were no bathroom amenities like soap, not quite what I expected from a 5-star hotel. Location is a bit inconvenient for getting to central Taipei, but the historic charm made it worthwhile. Still, the hotel can feel crowded at times due to tourist tours. Overall, a unique place to stay, but could improve service consistency.

A historical gem that offers incredibly stunning views from the front rooms. The lobby showcases beautiful handcrafted decorations, creating a truly nostalgic atmosphere. While the pool and gym facilities were exceptional, cleanliness, especially on the balcony, required more attention. Additionally, the limited food options could benefit from more variety, particularly with Mediterranean dishes.
